Patras Cold Storage (Ψυγεία Πατρών Α.Ε.) is one of the oldest companies in Western Greece specializing in the storage and distribution of dairy, chilled, and frozen products.

The company was established in 1971 as a cold storage and frozen goods warehousing business. Throughout its years of operation, the company has continuously modernized and expanded its facilities in order to meet the evolving demands of the market.

Today, the company operates refrigerated and frozen storage chambers ranging from 0°C to -25°C, designed to accommodate all types of products and goods. The facilities currently include 20 storage chambers with a total capacity of 15,000 m³ or 2,500 m², with storage capability for up to 3,000 pallets.

In addition to warehousing services, the company provides daily integrated transportation and distribution solutions tailored to the needs of its customers throughout Western Greece and the Peloponnese. The company also handles storage and distribution services for local supermarket chains, independent supermarkets, and smaller HORECA businesses across the region.

Furthermore, weekly distribution routes operate throughout the Peloponnese, serving companies that require reliable product distribution within the area.

The company’s facilities are located on a privately owned 10,000 m² site in the strategically important area of Agios Vasileios, Rio Patras, with direct access to the National Highway. The facilities include:

• Electrical power supply points for refrigerated trucks
• 300 m² of customer office space located within the building
• Company-owned refrigerated trucks (semi-trailers and 3-axle vehicles)
• Open and covered secure parking areas
• 24-hour facility security

Since 2011, the company has maintained a Food Safety Management Certification according to the EN ISO 22000:2018 standard, certified by TÜV AUSTRIA.

The consistently high quality of our services is supported by advanced electronic monitoring systems for temperature and humidity control within all storage chambers. Product handling and warehousing operations are carried out using forklifts and electric pallet trucks, while order preparation follows the FIFO (First In – First Out) method.
